1. With the lobby and courtyard full of people waiting for their rooms at 4 p.m. and nothing cleaned and available for check-in , the entire housekeeping staff sat down for lunch (?).

2. Our third stay at the Saint Louis Hotel and we found the staff very friendly except for the late check in staff person 'Allen' who could not smile, say a word and acted like he was put out that we where there.

5. Check-in: I had a huge group and the Front desk did everything possible to make sure the bulk of our attendees were lodged with a smile by their 4 p.m. check-in time, but the staff is small staff and can get easily overwhelmed.

7. Our check in was good/effecient, parking was a nightmare (mostly due to it being Mardi Gras), and we were off to our room on the 4th floor.

9. We arrived to the hotel almost a full 3 hours before check-in time and the staff was more than willing to permit us an early check-in.
