1. The valet was fast and well, expensive, but so is all parking in this area of New Orleans.

3. We got out of our car, proceeded to take out our luggage, and not once did he welcome us, ask us if we needed help - or even ask us if we were checking in and needed it to be valeted.

4. This lost the hotel a fee for our service, because had he asked and had we agreed to valet, we wouldn't have asked the price of the service once we checked in.

5. Its obvious they've screened their staff well, as everyone from the front desk staff, to the valet, to the housekeeping personnel were all friendly and proficient at their respective positions.

7. A couple of other points, there is no microwave or mini fridge in the rooms and there is a pretty steep fee for the valet/parking service.

8. It has a few shortcomings: You gotta' pay for your own parking (almost 30 bucks Valet, though I recommend paying 15 US$ at the parking lot around the corner), and for internet (U$ 9.95, and it is not very fast).

9. The desk attendants were extremely polite and even held my luggage for me after check-out so that I didn't have to get my car out of valet until we were ready to leave the city.
