1. Bourbon Street is within walking distance and the trolley that takes you to the Garden District is just a block away.

4. The French quarter is a bit of a crazy place, i don't think i would have liked to stay down on bourbon street or any of the parallel streets , unless i was just there for 1 or 2 days to soak it up .

5. On the business side of Canal Street, it is convenient to the downtown business area, but one has only to walk across Canal Street to enter the French Quarter area.
