1. I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites near the Nashville Airport with my son while we visited Vanderbilt University.

2. The staff is inattentive, as in missed wake up call, coffee not ready at breakfast etc. The property was nearly full probably because a neighboring SpringHill Suites is under reno vation.

4. I usually have extended stays in suite type hotels so this one had smaller rooms than I am used to but it was a good stay.

6. Bottom line--I recommend staying in that (east of Nashville) area--there's many extended stay/suites hotels nearby--but this property isn't up to the typical Mariott quality.
