Particular mention to Elaine on the front desk, proper southern friendliness that can't be trained, the young man at breakfast that called her darlin, it made her day and the parking guy on arrival that not only explained parking options but also explained the delights of the Flying Saucer (great bar, next door).

10. I was excited about this hotel because it's in a great location - just a five minute walk to the bars on Broadway, and right next to the Flying Saucer which is one of my favorite bars for drinking good craft beers on tap.
