1. Were it not for this maid knocking on my door I would have given this hotel a 4 instead of a 3, but I will still recommend based upon the cleanliness, price, and friendliness of the front desk staff.

2. In fact, when we couldn't leave the room for cleaning when the maid came at 9:30 a.m., she left, and no one ever came back.

3. We returned late in the evening to the room as we left it--wet towels in the bathroom, trash overflowing (the baskets are woefully small for a family suite!), beds unmade, etc. I suspect that the maids are working hard but understaffed.
