6. Perhaps I simply had an exceptionally bad room, but as I also had problems with getting a taxi to even show up to take me up the street coupled with the insecure locking system, I absolutely CANNOT recommend this place at the prices they charge.

They also offered breakfast in the restaurant if you wanted (for a surcharge)I think that the hotel was about a 15-20 min drive from South Beach (maybe longer with traffic) but close enough to go over there if needed for nights out etc.This was a great stay, and I'd 100% recommend it to friends, family and other travellers.
