Close to downtown Memphis (a short walk and trolley ride), on the river, 4-poster beds and good-sized rooms, an excellent restaurant (breakfast, lunch and
dinner
), and friendly, attentive service from all involved.

But the little extras like turndown service, candy and a nightcap waiting when we returned from
dinner
, made it an amazing experience.

We had
dinner
with our boys at Tugs on New years day and they rustled up black eyed peas for my husband for good luck.

I hope next time we can stay there when the weather is better and take advantage of the roof top sitting, it would be a great place to watch the sun go down and the boats going up and down the mighty Mississippi River, and taking a walk down on the river walk after
dinner
would finish off a great day.

Also, we met a friend who lives in Memphis for
dinner
(we went to the Hotel-recommended Rendevous bbq - great!) and she said that we definitely made a good choice in terms of neighborhood safety.
