It lacks any amenities like pool, business center or gym, but has a free underground garage that is locked after 10 p.m. Upon our 9 p.m. arrival, we found the desk clerk sitting behind a bullet proof glass screen, reminiscent of a money exchange, who wrote up our contract for a higher rate and for fewer days than specified in our confirmed reservation.

3. While it did not have a pool or fitness room (I believe -- I was not interested in them) the location to downtown, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica was easy.
