1. I agree with other reviewers: This Comfort Inn may be simple and unremarkable in most ways, but it`s run by a friendly and caring staff, it`s very clean, the rooms are up-to-date and spacious (at least my non-smoking king was), the breakfast is in line with that at comparable motels, and--most of all--the location is excellent for either Downtown or Silver Lake.

2. It`s not in the greatest neighborhood, but there were some good restaurants nearby, and the location is good as far as accessing downtown.

This is the sort of hotel that you want when travelling, all the basics were covered: - free secure parking - short drive to downtown / hollywood / freeway on ramps to head in any direction- free wifi- free breakfast - cereal, fruit, pastries, toast, diy waffle machine (yum!), yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee.

6. e very thin walls, so you easily hear TV or people from nearby rooms, some gross stains on the curtains in my room, only a veggie fast food to have dinner on site, otherwise you need to drive), the place is still a good value: less than 5 miles from downtown L.

7. While it did not have a pool or fitness room (I believe -- I was not interested in them) the location to downtown, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica was easy.

9. The location is a bit of a let down and the area is rough, but you can commute fairly easy downtown, Hollywood or Santa Monica.

10. This access is a real plus, and so is free parking in the building, which would be non-existent in a downtown or West L.
