1. The bed was not comfortable, with some sagging toward the center, but in general, I would have to give this hotel 4/5 stars--it was what you would expect from Marriott: good service, clean facilities, and excellent amenities.

2. It seemed for awhile that the Marriott brand hotels were falling behind their subsidiary brands in comfort and amenities - if my stay at this Marriott was any indication, it seems like the flagship has finally caught up.

3. The beds and pillows were very comfortable (always a plus for me as a business traveler, since really the only time I spend in the hotel is to sleep), the bathroom amenities were much better than previous Marriott experiences, and the front desk staff was great - even when I arrived at 1:45am.
