1. Walking distance to a great Argentinian wine bar and steakhouse, and also to one of the best sushi places in town.
"It does the job for cheap (and does the job perfectly at that) " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/28/2012 Vote
2. The food service area (and bar) were perfect for the setting and the staff went beyond my expectations in assisting us.

4. Nothing remarkable, other than the better than expected breakfast with the omelet bar (a nice touch for a low-carb dieter).

5. While much posher properties are in the neighborhood, this is an ok place if there is no need to meet in a fancy bar or such.

8. Instead, we found this hotel's location to be well located for everything else we wanted to do in and around Houston - it's easy to get on 59 to go downtown or to the museum district, it's a short drive to Memorial Park (although we actually ran it on one morning), and you can get to a bunch of restaurants and bars in about 5 minutes.
"Comfy and close to everything " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/19/2012 Vote
9. It has the typical Garden Inn look with the breakfast/bar and lobby area.

10. Complaints: there is no bathtub (only a shower), the sink area in the bathroom is very, very small (hardly enough room for a flat iron and makeup), no full size ironing board, the clothes bar in the closet is very, very low, so when I hung my clothes up in the closet, they would drag on the floor, the gentleman that checked me in seemed unhappy to be there and did not tell me about the $10/per day parking charge.
"Will not be back " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/26/2011 Vote
