The clerk looked through available rooms on the computer and apparently found one -- but called over the

and said 'they would like two double beds - but I want you to see this'.

All in all, it meant that multiple cleaning personnel, desk attendants,

s and wait staff for breakfast all dropped the ball.

initially implied we would have to deal with this ourselves but did come thru and get the refund for us.

However, the best thing about this hotel is that that Hotel General
Manager
really knows his stuff and has his staff operating at a Ritz/Fairmont level hotel.

was very apologetic and offered to buy us a meal in the pub restaurant, which is noisy and pricey.
