1. -Terrific shower, probably one of the best I've ever had-Comfortable beds-Friendly, helpful staffSince we got in somewhat late, I requested a late checkout and they accommodated it without a problem, allowing us to check out at 1pm instead of 11am.

2. when i requested late checkout as i had a really late departure flight, you would think they would try to make mends this time around, nope, claimed they are sold out and then told me they would let me stay there until 4pm for $100, i booked through priceline, my daily rate is less than that, so after much painful conversation with the front desk lady, i was allowed 1pm checkout.

4. My biggest challenge with the Curtis is that I called ahead before my stay to arrange a one-hour late checkout on my last day in the hotel to lead a business conference call with a critical client.
