5. The second night of my stay I was looking for a late night snack/dinner and the front desk staff was helpful in giving me suggestions on open restaurants and delivery/takeout options.

6. We arrived late night/early morning on Saturday and the front desk staffer was excellent at speed of check in (I'm sure I looked tired) and explaining amenities of the hotel (locations, operation times, etc), and offering other suggestions for my stay.

7. When I didn't get the room I booked, the lady at the front desk may not have been rude, but was indeed 'short', explaining 'you can only request a particular room, but until you check in you don't know what you will get'.
