1. My only criticism would be expensive parking and no complimentary breakfast (always a bonus).

Many people won't like the old formal rooms -- if you want glass & steel go to the Hyatt or Hilton (where I went next for a covention) -- and some hallways do eerily bring to mind 'The Shining' -- but heck, they took me to the Texas State Fair in a complimentary Towne Car- what more could you want.

7. I've never seen a manager take the time to wander the lobby and greet his guests, finding out why they were staying here, if it was their first time in Dallas, etc. I overheard some guests telling an agent that it was their anniversary - Chris must have overheard this as well, because as soon as the couple was out of earshot, he jumped behind the desk and ordered up a complimentary bottle of champagne sent up to their room.

8. We stayed for 3 nights and the entire experience including service, dining, complimentary drivers, and the room accomodations made for a perfect getaway.
