4. When we arrived Country Inn and Suites Columbus North, we were surprised to find the parking lot empty, yet the front desk person notified us that the hotel was 'booked full', and they would need to give us a handicapped room instead of the room we reserved.

5. The hot breakfast was complementary and good, the young lady at the front desk, Robin, was a pleasure to work with and took very good care of us, when we had a slight issue with the shower.

6. Incidentally, I noticed the previous evening that all of the cars parked at the hotel were in the front lot versus the side lot with the local pedestrian traffic so I moved my car to the front lot as well so maybe it could be seen from the front desk.

7. I took pictures of the bedbugs and took them down to the front desk and checked out a little after 2 am, I was advised that in order to get a refund on my room I would have to speak with the manager on Monday.

8. When I went to ask the front desk for a blanket and pillows for the pull out couch bed they told me they had no extras because they were full and others had wiped them out of extras, but I could have more sheets.

I called the front desk expecting some solution [not necessarily a refund--since I'd already paid for the room in cash, of course I was prepared to pay for my hotel stay] and the manager [Kathy] expressed that they "checked for bed bugs every month" and that all the bedding, including the duvets and pillows, were laundered after every guest checks out.
