1. I didn't get to try the cafe which sits off to the side of the lobby or the skyview gym/pool, but according to the others in my party those amenities are more than adequate.

2. The price was excellent, it's close to EVERYTHING, they have a free shuttle downtown, parking is easy and cheap, the wifi is good, great staff - only complaint I have is that it would be great if they had a swimming pool onsite but that's a really minor thing.

3. I was a tad disappointed at the fact that there was not pool inside the hotel but nonetheless right across the street there was a YMCA for the Garfield hotel guests.

4. Yes, for exercise I could have walked the stairs--all 14 floors--but since I am a bicyclist, I used the exercycle in the nearly full skylighted gym on the 16th floor; there are several other pieces of standard equipment: weights, walkers, etc. There is no pool nor sauna/hot tub, but the view (after I turned the excercycle 180 degrees) is quite nice--I don't need to see myself in the mirrors.

7. The only pitfalls of my stay were that there isn't a pool on the hotl's grounds and there isn't any overnight parking available at the hotel itself.

8. To sum it up, there wasn't anything I didn't like about this hotel except for the fact there wasn't a pool or hotub, but I knew that going in.
