1. We were within walking distance of the Speed Week Street Festival and within a 20 minute drive to the track.

2. I liked this hotel but would avoid it like the plague if a football game was going on down the street.

3. We arrived during a football game, which made getting to the hotel a challenge since the streets leading to the hotel were blocked off and there was a lot of action around the stadium (crowds, music, etc.).

4. Make sure when you book you get the one on South Mint Street, there are two in the area, but this one was great.

5. There was some construction going on in the street in front of the hotel which was quite annoying because to get out and get back you had to take detours, which my GPS did not like.

8. The hotel is located right off of the interstate, right next to the Bank of America Stadium (where the Panthers play) and two blocks up from Tryon Street.

9. It's within walking distance to the Carolina Panthers stadium as well as 2 blocks from Tryon Street; which appears to be the main part of downtown Charlotte.
