On the plus side- the staff was nice, the

was free and convenient, and the pool looked clean and inviting.

I couldn't believe my eyes when we pulled into the
parking
lot of this motor lodge branded as a Holiday Inn.

Also, a conference room in the lobby was being used for a Christmas party (there was loud music coming from it) so people attending the party took

spaces intended for hotel guests.
