2. On arrival a friendly valet jumped right out to greet us; it was Superbowl weekend and he was wearing a Patriots jersey over his uniform, so right off we knew there would be an element of playfulness to the elegant hotel.

4. The thing I will most remember (but I'm sorry I can't remember his name!) but a gentleman from the front desk waited with me outside for about 5-10 minutes in the morning at about 5 am on August 24 while the valet was bringing my car around and it was vacant outside.

6. Every aspect of the hotel inflated its price- the valet was 50 plus tip, the breakfast was 78 and two desserts (room service) was fifty dollars.
