4. The front of the hotel looks out onto a busy street, the back of most of the buildings faces the river; my room was very quiet.

5. The location is great being a few minutes away from downtown Bend, many restaurants close, etc. The mall is a short walk down the street, but the facility itself lends itself to a more exclusive resort feel being set back against the river.

7. There is an EXCELLENT breakfast spot just across the street called McKay Cottage - highly highly recommend it - try the Smith Rock benny.
