1. But I'm not sure bad eighties bathroom fixtures and tub surrounds will ever entice me to stay in a dark and dingy room.

2. The beds were not pillow-top, but were still in pretty good shape and the bathroom and vanity area had been recently upgraded and were quite nice.

I stayed in a suite which had a kitchen stocked with plates and utensils, coffee pot, toaster, etc, a sitting area with a gas fireplace, an attached bedroom (which is not behind a closed door, more like a studio apartment) and a bathroom with shower over tub, and a separate vanity and sink outside the bathroom.
