1. We only live approximately 30 minutes from downtown, but we wanted to enjoy the occasion without worrying about traffic etc. The hotel had many guests who were there for the same reason and the management provided maps etc. that included road closures, best walking route to War Memorial Plaza, and methods of transportation if you chose not to walk.

5. Despite getting a great deal on Priceline for 2 rooms, we were given two quite big and very clean rooms with views of downtown and partial harbor The beds and bedding were absolutely fantastic, just melted into sleep.
