3. And the staff were excellent, friendly, warm but efficient - I arrived late, and the doorman and check-in staff were welcoming and hospitable - made a nice difference after a long day of travel.
"A great hotel experience! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/23/2011 Vote
4. Among the negatives - and keep in mind that we paid more than $300 for the night which I had booked as a romantic night away from home in DC - are that we booked the romantic package which comes with a bottle of champagne upon check-in, a free movie, and 'breakfast in bed' which is really a $50 credit for room service.
"Just another hotel experience...not worth the price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/6/2010 Vote
5. At the majority of nice hotels I've stayed at, I've never had a problem with check-in, even early check-ins are often accommodated, so I thought it was ridiculous for a room not to be ready over a half hour after their printed check-in time.
"Beautiful views, service only so-so " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/3/2010 Vote
6. PROS: quick check-in, clean room, nice linens, flat panel TVCONS: expensive valet parking, older hotel - could use a renovation SIDE NOTE: We booked through our american express card and dinner & breakfast was included.
"Overall positive experience " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/6/2009 Vote
7. They let us check in by noon (which was good because we were only there for one night, for a Red Sox game, and needed somewhere to put our luggage!)The room was very nice, but basic.
"In town for the Red Sox game... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/4/2009 Vote
8. Check-in was an easy affair.
"It was just okay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/26/2009 Vote
9. The front-desk staff was great from check-in to check-out, but we felt the hotel just lacked the general attitude and feeling you would expect from a five-star hotel.
"Not what I`d call 5-star " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/18/2008 Vote
