1. We really liked the Carribean Beach Resort, except that the shuttle has to drive through the entire resort stopping at every 'Beach'.

4. The room had lights of course but they weren't dimmable like the ones in Beach Club and neither was there a vanity mirror in the bathroom area as there had been at Beach Club which would perhaps have helped when trying to apply makeup in the shadows on the bathroom area.

5. As I said, it may well be that my opinion was skewed by having stayed in the beautiful, light and airy Beach Club (I've reviewed that hotel separately) directly before moving to the Animal Kingdom Lodge but I urge you to think carefully before staying here.

Other negatives on the room in comparison to the Beach Club were:-Only sheet and blanket on the bed where the Beach Club also had duvets-Only one (small) pillow on the bed instead of the two plush ones at Beach Club-The room was much smaller than the Beach Club-Complete lack of storage - a wardrobe with 5 hangers and a total of 2 drawers - that was it.

7. Because AKL is situated rather remotely, drop offs and pickups were not combined with any other facility (except, strangely, the bus to Hollywood Studios also stopped at Blizzard Beach, which was closed for renovations).
