1. I've never been to Vegas, but my son had stayed at the Luxor, and when I told him it was across the street from the New York, New York, and down the block from the MGM Grand, he said it was a good location, so we decided to take the chance.

3. You will regularly see the Street sellers at the ice machines on site helping themselves to Ice to fill up their cooler boxes as they are selling water along the strip, I didnt particularly care much about it, but the site was open to anyone to walk in and use the pool/parking/ice machines etc..

4. Because it sits off the main street and protected, it provides safety for our belongings, we have free internet, we have a nice room, we have friendly caring service from the staff, and we are right in the midst of the hustle and bustle but without the price.

5. over walking for miles, through the 'maze' of the large casino/hotels just to get from my room to the street.

6. I'm not a gambler, but heck if I wanted to play the penny slots all I had to do is walk across the street to Planet Hollywood.

7. There was construction across the street and at night it can be a bit sketchy, but what do you expect for the price.
