4. The strip is fun, but if you want something more low-key check out Downtown las Vegas and stay at the Golden Gate.

5. They did not have any rooms ready, so I couldn't check in early, but they did offer to hold my stuff so I could go eat, and check out the sites (they also held my stuff for a few hours after I checked out, as my room on the Strip wouldn't be ready until 3pm).

6. In December we stayed at Binions, and while gambling in the Golden Gate one night my wife asked if she could check out one of the rooms, because we heard that they were remodeling.
