Its hard to explain but it was feeling a bit dated and there were lots of fliers all over the floor in the hallways which made it look like a city

If you can afford an extra $20 a night, stay at the MGM or even at the Tropicana across the
street
, which is almost the same price as the Excalibur, but with much better customer service and pools.
"Spend a little extra and go elsewhere!!! "

GamblingIf you go across the
street
to the tropicana FIRST and sign up for their loyalty program, when you come back to the excalibur and sign up show them your card and they will give you 10 dollars in free play.

Luckily we could transfer our drinks to their cups AND our cups were still there when we left), watching the light show at Fremont
Street
, free entertainment at Circus Circus, watching O at the Bellagio and driving through Red Rock Canyon.

If you go, you MUST visit Freemont
Street
, the wee bus will bring you, it's the place to party, big mad cocktails and dancing in the

Although it is one of the cheapest hotels you wouldnt know it, our room was cleaned and towels replaced daily and staff always had a smile and were very helpful, Tournament of Kings and the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay Hotel are a must as is the free lightshow on Freemont
Street
.
