1. We do that for three seasons: 1) it's convenient to the interstate, 2) the Bass Pro Shops is a great place to stock up for camping & other gear, and 3) it's a nice place with good restaurants, varied gambling and decent rates.

2. We had to be there for a wedding on Veterans Day weekend so were thankful to get a pretty good rate considering the gazillion people who were in Vegas that weekend and the increased charges at other hotels.

10. About $5/day, which ostensibly gives you access to the pool, the workout room, local calls, etc. These are all things which 'normal' hotels simply provide in the room base price, so why not adjust the room rates accordingly rather than hitting guests with hidden fees.
