Customer service person went to the back to speak with a
manager
and we waited for a good 10+ minutes--seemed like a used car salesman scene as she came back and offered to waive the $15 day resort fee and did locate an upgraded room that cost a bit more.

The buffet wasn't showing up, so she spoke with a
manager
and got us $44 comped toward a buffet of our choice (we ended up paying a bit more--about $10 plus tip--very happy).

sided with me and reinstated our reservation and the lower rate, noted our record that we should receive the free drinks and passes and also waived the $16 resort fees for our stay.
