3. Nice bathrobes in the room; nice toiletries (replenished daily, one of my pet peeves is not getting refills when a shampoo or conditioner is used up); really very good hotel gym; nice staff.

4. Upon checking in let me begin to list my disappointments to me and my girlfriend: Our suite had a view of a emergency exit ladder and run down building, the room though said it had been fully remodeled was very run down outside of some new TVs and desk, carpet kinda smelled, and our bed sheets had wear marks in them, I had asked for extra towels and pillows and did not receive either, I asked for extra extra pillows 3 times and never got them, to get to the gym/fitness center I had to walk through the Mezzanine which they used for weddings, conferences, etc with 200+ people.
"Over Promised hype and VERY Disappointed Reality.. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/8/2012 Vote
5. and i mean RIGHT though the middle of black tie events (and I in my gym clothes) only to find that the mens locker room was being repaired for 2-3 days, there is no pool or spa, our TVs did not work and when we were trying to rest there were 3 guys in our hotel room trying to repair it.

7. At 3:40PM, realizing that there was little chance that we would get a room and still have time to change, we opted to take our bags to the gym and change in the locker room.
"Gorgeous Hotel, Unfortunately, Manager Should Be Fired " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/2/2011 Vote

9. It's also pretty centrally located in the downtown area so it's very easy to walk to the historic buildings, coffee shops, restaurants, museums, bars, and Gold's Gym is just across Congress.
"Great Location, Very Historic Property...but we were disappointed " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/15/2008 Vote
