1. We chose it for three main reasons: (1) location to Disneyland (30 yards from the intersection that takes you across to the main pedestrian entrance allowing you the freedom to come-and-go as you please without the hassle of waiting for shuttle buses), (2) availability of a Parlour Family Suite (2 large rooms with 2 queen beds in each and two full bathrooms and a separate smaller TV room with hide-a-bed sofa) that was perfect for our group size and (3) a very reasonable low season room rate.

4. Desert Inn was conveniently located across from Disney after walking around all day it was nice to get back to the room quick not having to wait for a shuttle bus.

5. We found out on our 3rd day that you can catch a bus from just outside disneyland where all the shuttles are to almost anywhere in Anaheim.

9. If you want free wifi, shuttle service, better breakfast, stay at Candy Cane Inn, if you want to walk across the street and see the fireworks at your hotel, stay here.

10. Trust me, after a long day at the park, you will appreciate the benefit of being able to just walk across the street to your room while others wait in long line-ups for their shuttle bus to get home.
