7. The Alpine is located directly across the street from the Anaheim Convention Center, and before the construction of California Adventure, it was a short walk to the tram to Disneyland -- now you must walk around the corner from Katella to the main entrance on Harbor.

8. Normally, I stay at the Super 8 down the street because it's such a cheap and good deal, but I think that the Alpine Inn has won my heart and may now become my new favorite place near Disneyland.

9. The exterior is older and pretty campy, which can lead to an 'unsafe' or 'seedy' atmosphere I guess in comparison to the Hilton (which is right across the street) but this place has been around since the 1950s.
