1. I thought the General manager was very friendly.

2. The guards together with the manager, Miguel, came out, took pictures, and assured us they will file the paperwork with Marriott claims who will take care of everything, no need to call the police, etc. Except that Marriott is not financially responsible for anything, their parking is considered "public" and the only recourse is to go through your insurance.

7. As we were trying to calm him and waited for the fire engine and ambulance, the operations manager came to the room with a radio connected to dispatch updating us on their location and letting us know an employee was waiting in the lobby to escort the emergency crew up to our room.

8. After 2 days of this we asked to speak to a manager and the security said that he was the manager (yeah right).

9. i got a feeling the manager knew we won't get a penny from the Marriott claims office, but was intentionally misleading just to get us off the property ASAP and make sure we won't call the police to file a report.
