9. The Front Desk Manager needs to make sure his desk staff welcome Hotel Guests with enthusiasm and explain key areas of the property like where to eat and hours of operation.

We checked in to this hotel at 11p.m. (3a.m. our time, having flown from the east coast),and were required to call the supervising guest services manager, as their reservation system had not provided the correct information--The clerk was less than helpful and kept insisting that our stay was booked for 8 nights, when it was actually booked for 9 nights.
