1. We had a car, and one night when we couldn't park in the small motel lot we had to park on the street right outside and then get up early to move the car for street cleaning.

2. Chestnut Street is a main entertainment area just one block down with several coffee/bakery/shops and a great little bar called The Campus bar with a comfortable atmosphere and really cold beer.

6. the constant noise of traffic i can handle, its a busy street, but the walls are so thin we could hear every single word/step of the people passing to their rooms.

Everything about this hotel was aweful, the service, the 'continental breakfast' that you have to take back to your room (we were so grossed out we couldn't even eat it in our room, not to mention the meger breakfast offerings, there were fixtures missing on the wall, the tv didn't work, the room was dirty, the shower curtain had stuff on it, the screen was halfway off our window, we had to park on the street being we didnt get one of the few too close spots in the parking area, and the door didnt shut all the way.

8. We found our room to be quiet, but I can see that if you had one of the few rooms facing Lombard Street, it would be noisy from the traffic.

10. The parking garage is on ground level with Lombard Street and only has about 8 parking spaces, so you need to get there very early and not move your car.
