1. So I can recommend this hotel, but make sure that you get a room with no connecting door.

7. Having stayed at at a variety of places before - from Motel 6's to B&B's to Hyatts/Sheratons/Westins to the Omni (in SF) - I can honestly say I'd recommend this hotel without reservation.
