1. Check-in was a breeze; on-site parking is comparatively inexpensive and excellent; and though it IS located down the street from the redlight district/strip clubs, it's also walking distance to a slew of great eateries, hip clubs, and fun venues.

7. Not many hotels for this price have such great access to the city, great rooms (big bed and lovely bathroom), cheap parking, and friendly staff for such a good price.

There is a parking garage below (an annoying $27) but if you've ever circled this part of the city looking for parking you'll pay it and think nothing more while enjoying a sidewalk meal and trying to interpret exchanges in Italian between octogenarians then sipping your second dark and stormy while (re?)reading Howl at Vesuvio then strolling mere steps back to your room.
