3. I'm no carpenter but I would recommend ditching the kitchenettes, adding larger bath vanities, coffee packages, clothes hangers, and the drapes I saw in the ad.

5. The only thing I don't recommend is walking south of Jones Street, into the depth of the Tenderloin--sketchy people.

If it's super luxury you are after it's not for you but we stayed in more expensive establishments in San fran and the only difference is the size of the room which is smaller in halcyon but considering the savings you make and the friendly staff I would recommend this to all travellers and holiday makers.
