1. The room wasn't spotless but fine for the price, great view out onto the street as we were on the seventh floor (the lift worked fine throughout my 5 night stay), a bit noisey in the mornings beause of street cleaning and loose, single glazed windows but a pair of ear plugs solved that which I was expecting I would need for a hostel anyway.

8. My room was located on the second floor right above the lobby, so I could pretty much hear all the cars and people screaming on the street.

9. Location not too bad, felt safe enough coming back to it at night and you can get to the piers by taking the cable car from Powell Street, but rememebr if you are planning on doing much walking around San Francisco be sure to be fit.

10. You are about 10 minutes walk from Powell Street BART which comes directly from the airport.
