1. The 'breakfast' -- sub-ordinary pastries and some bananas and apples -- left a lot to be desired, but with plenty of places to get good food nearby, we didn't care.

2. (always good to have snack food) We had room 208 and the king size bed was ROCK hard and pillows not so great either, but again all clean; the bathroom small and clean.

3. san fran itself we found very expensive , eating out especially , unless you head to mels diner, out of hotel and turn left down lombard street for about a mile , great food at great prices a 1950s style diner like something straight out of grease.

5. There is plenty of food and the pastries are delivered fresh every morning - this is all kept well stocked up during breakfast hours and you can have as much as you like and the pastries are delicious.

9. On the top floor you have a sun room with table and chairs which gets real warm and a roof area also with tables and chairs so you are able to bring your food back tot he hotel and eat should you wish.
