1. And the JCC across the street has an amazing gym with sauna and steam room.

2. And in general, though I loved the small hotel vibe, I found myself missing the amenities of a larger hotel: gym and room service in particular (though you can always buy a pass to the Y across the street).
"Fantastic hotel if you're going to be in the neighborhood " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/13/2011 Vote
3. If you want a gym while you are there you can use the Jewish community center across the street for a daily fee (i think like $10-12), Also if you are interested in Pilates/yoga there are plenty of studios in the area that are within walking distance.
"Not bad place to stay if you are willing to take taxi, bus, walk... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/18/2011 Vote
4. The local Synogogue was just within walking distance and the JCC Spa and Gym were just across the street.
"fantastic place in san francisco " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/28/2010 Vote
5. Aside from the nice quaint feel a major plus is that it is right across the street from the new JCC which has an amazing fitness center with gym, pool, hottub, sauna, etc. They charge a few bucks for a daily pass but for the business traveller who has a lot of free time in the eveing and isn't interested in hanging out at a hotel bar, the availabity of having such a great workout facility literally across the street is gold.
"Very Nice Boutique Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/17/2009 Vote
6. It is located right by the Presidio - fantastic for dog walks - and offers discount passes to the gym at the Jewish Community Center right across the street - one of SF's best health clubs.
"Dog-friendly and easy parking " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/16/2009 Vote
7. Unfortunately the room was hot and the hall was very smelly and musty (moldy gym bag odor).
"Great location, pleasant staff, but mediocre hotel for many reasons. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/19/2010 Vote
