The best things about the hotel are the general value (you'll save hundreds per night compared to the brand name hotels in nearby Fisherman's Wharf), free parking (a real bonus in this city where some hotels charge over $40 per night to park), free continental breakfast, and convenient location within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants, bars, and public transportation.

7. Parking was in covered spots below the hotel or in an overflow lot - we moved our car once but were able to park in the covered parking both times that we parked.

8. Parking was free, but if you couldn`t find a parking space inside the courtyard you had to park next door where there are signs every 10 feet telling you to take everything out of your car which doesn`t leave you with the most confident feeling about the neighborhood.
