2. Got a decent rate (for the time of year), and as a Leaders Club member we had $50 breakfast credit each morning as well as free Wi-Fi.

5. I had not heard of the Taj Campton Place but our company had a corporate rate that was extremely reasonable and so after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor I booked it.

6. I must confess this booking was an exercise in nostalgia as much as anything else - I stayed in this hotel while in college, with my late parents, 17 years ago when it was still a Kempinski property, and wanted to see what it would be like, especially given an attractive rate on hotels.

9. The doorman is a great guy, and staff will always hold the door open for you if they are around but, they are often running around getting taxis, sorting out your luggage, valet parking etc. The Valet parking rate was about the same as we experienced in San Diego.
