1. Travelers coming in on the BART or CalTran do have a few block walk, but cabs are a good option if you have plenty of luggage or there's always the 10 or 12 MUNI lines that run up 2nd Street from Market.

2. We recently spent two quick days in San Francisco to attend a wedding and wisely decided to book a room at the Courtyard on 2nd Street taking advantage of a very reasonable 'friends and family' rate.

10. You can park on the street overnight (6PM to 7AM), but you need to be extremely careful of the street sweeping hours and meter timings, or you will find an expensive ticket on your car.
