2. The same hotel group owns a japanese bathhouse (which is great) so I'd recommend that over the in-house spa.

The views from this hotel are spectacular so I totally recommend upgrading the room, the $40 more we paid for our room compared to my aunts was astonishing, we had several rooms and my aunt was the only one who didn't, all of us had awesome views except hers, which was of the air conditioning units, totally worth $40.

I should also mention that there are two Michelin starred restaurant within a block of the hotel: Boulevard and One Market (I can recommend the latter for the food, which really was rather good and of decent value; as to the atmosphere, the place is so large and busy, and the service so swift, it feels like being in a highly sophisticated fast-food joint).
