1. This is a small hotel, good value for money and generously gives you the extras: free WiFi, complmentary tea, coffee, fruit and cookies all day, a range of newspapers to read, lollies in the rooms and cheap drinks every evening during happy hour.

7. Louries (a novelty American diner just for the experience is on the next block), try the small noodle shops in Chinatown (delicious tasty food for very little money), the Thai cafe off Powell Street, Cheescake Factory above Macy's and for something different try the Supperclub.

9. Hint - there's a Borders a few doors down, and they have hot breakfast sandwiches and lovely pastries with their Seattle's Best coffee, for much less money than the local restaurants.
