Parking is also irritating, I hate having to pay
to park
on the street, specially since the parking meters start charging early in the morning so you have to wake up very early to feed it with tons of coins.

If you happen to have a car during your stay, they charge $6.42 per day
to park
from noon to noon the following day.

Thus, if you decide
to park
overnight and not pay for the parking pass until the following day, you must wake up at 8am to either put quarters in the meter or to pay for the parking pass, which only begins at noon.

Meter parking is $1 an hour, but you can buy a pass from the front desk for $6.42 that allows you
to park
at the meters from noon to noon.
