An easy walk to the fun of Rush
Street
, or the lake, close to the Chicago Metro Station for getting around to the other sites, such as Millennium Park, Chinatown, the Planetarium, etc.Great shopping on Michigan Avenue right out the front door.

On a positive note, the location is fantastic as it is on a quiet
street
but only a 2 minute walk to either Michigan Avenue or to the lakefront and a running path.

Coffee service in the morning was out of coffee and cream on both mornings when I happened to arrive (step it up staff and watch the details), no coffee makers in the room, no newspaper delivered in the morning (wasn't even asked if I wanted one) and guests have to take multiple elevators from
street
to room.

Ours (2405) had a fantastic view of Lake Michigan, part of Oak

I know that city noise is a problem with many hotels in big cities, but the Ritz is located across the
street
from a fire station and the engines (with sirens blaring) were active all weekend, especially late at night.

You're across the
street
from the Water Tower, a block from Michigan Ave and two blocks from the lake.
